A couple of days ago, I was on facebook in the morning. The status I am about to post was not directed towards me as far as I know, and I have no idea if she got it from a song or movie or tv show.

Okay so it doesn’t seem that bad, but seriously? Wearing clothes that make you comfortable shouldn’t be a crime. Like that show “What not To Wear.” They are always throwing away people’s PAJAMAS. Seriously? Like if I want to wear teddy bear pajamas as a 25 year old, let me, because they are so freaking comfortable and nobody will be in bed with me anyways. So then Like yea, I got upset because she said this. Maybe it isn’t just my age group.
But then today, we were talking about names, and this girl said “Well, when I have kids, I will name them, but when they are old enough to make decisions, let him or her chose what she wants her name to be.” and I was like, okayy. And then she said “I absolutely hate my name. *******? Really? That’s an old person name, so disgusting.” And I said “I like my name because it is what my parents chose to call me by, and also, my first name is my Grandmother’s name.” So basically I subtly let her know that she just insulted me. And then she said “Well my dad named me, and I hate everything he does because he likes the color orange.”
BECAUSE HE LIKES THE COLOR ORANGE.
What in heaven’s name are you talking about. The color orange has nothing to do with your father’s choices!! iuahdf
And last thing. I always see negative comments about people’s size. I have been attacked because of my size. I am not that big either. Yes, I have gigantic boobs.Yea, my thighs are big. But it is no reason to attack me. I. AM. BEAUTIFUL. And so is every other girl. People around me every day are going on diets because they have been told they are fat when they are smaller than me. People around me DON’T EAT. How the heck can you NOT eat. Seriously? And all this “thinspiration” crap is bull. Who the heck are you to do this to people. A while back I saw a post basically saying that if your legs touch, you’re over a certain weight, actually eat food, etc. then you are fat and ugly. Then I think this one was a joke, but it was a picture of a girl who was so starved you could see her ribs protruding, her hips as well. And I found it disgusting. And if I had known the girls name, I would politely let somebody close to her know that what she is doing is unsafe. There are so many beautiful girls out there being told that they are ugly and fat. It’s so disheartening.
And even though only the last section is about tumblr, seeing this makes me want to leave. The first good year of my time of tumblr, there were no haters, nobody calling each other fat and ugly, and it’s so dumb. I thought we were family. Geesh. I just want to quit.

I completely agree to this, most of this anyways. I’m too tired to even being to rant as an add-on to this but know where your coming from and it is absolutely ridiculous what teenagers our day think and how they see themselves based on the demeaning view of others.
